Sassy Jo Grilling Supplies is based out of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Shawna (Sassy Jo Grillers Cooking Team) has been cooking competitively since 2015.
In her first year of cooking she was 2nd in Overall Points in the country. In the last 6 years, Shawna has won multiple events along with numerous Top 5 and Top 10 calls in competitions.
When Shawna first started competing, there were very few women cooking and from that moment, she has had the passion and drive to encourage more women and children to get into the sport of grilling and competing. The competition world is truly a family hobby!!
Alongside Shawna cooking is her daughter, Emma Jo - while she does not compete at the moment, EJ loves cooking steaks and pork chops on the grill and she loves baking! Be looking - you will see EJ on the cooking trail competing again soon!
